Did you know that many insulators have nicknames or trade names? The trade name (such as "pony") was typically used during their production. Since then, the insulator collecting hobby has come up with many other nicknames for distinct insulator styles. Nicknames are typically coined based on their shape (such as "Mickey Mouse",) usage (such as "exchange"), or patentee (such as "Foree Bain"). Here are all of the nicknames given to Hemingray insulators that I'm aware of. Do you know of a nickname I missed? Please let me know!
