Insulator Overview

All CD 137.5 specimens found to date have been dug from the Hemingray dump, so this was only an experimental style. Based on the clear color and quality of the glass, it's possible that this may have been intended as a replacement for the similarly-sized CD 137 which was discontinued in the early 1940s. The glass on the skirt is considerably thick.
